The
NOVURANIA NTR 152 Illustrator has been developd as a soft
type, highly compressible dedicatd UV blanket, designed to adapt to
a
variety of UV applications. It’s latest ‘State of art’ design caters
for the many new developements in UV offset press equipment. The NTR
152 Illustrator is eminently suitable
when frequent stock changes are necessary. The reinforsed carcass is
manufactured from only the highest quality long stable cotton yarns,
and the fabric plies are woven to
NOVURANIA’s rigorous specifications providing excellent mechanical
properties.
All plies are calendered to ensure lowest sinking on the press and
constant gauge throught the usable life of the blanket. The NTR 152
Illustrator incorporates the latest closed cell compressible layer
technology, with a carefully chosen blend of compounding ingredients
and polymers for the lithographic printing surface. This features
excellent compression set and rebound characteristics, as well as
outstanding chemical resistance, practically resulting in an absence
of swelling. The precision buffed surface is optimized for UV inks
and UV blanket washes, but makes the NTR 152 Illustrator unsuited
for IR and Oxidation inks.
