IMC GmbH – Marketing for the graphic industry – was founded in Frankfurt / Main 34 years ago. From the company name you can still see today that the founders had a totally different concept and philosophy in mind. It would appear that the time was not ready for such a global focus. Subsequently IMC has reacted accordingly by adapting and changing to meet new business demands. With different activities the company was then successful for many years as an international graphic arts supply house and has acquired an excellent reputation in the distribution of high quality blankets.

Since the acquisition in spring 1994 by Messrs. Meiji Rubber & Chemical Co., Ltd. in Tokyo / Japan the activities are concentrated almost exclusively on the distribution of the quality blankets Perfect Dot® and Ultra Dot® which already had a certain importance in our product range since the company was established.

At Drupa 2004 new qualities will be presented which will respond to the specific needs of the printing industry. The new sales program should provide adequately for a successful co-operation worldwide with leading printing plants and the existing partners and agencies

Perfect Dot is a quality offset blanket, which has proved its value over many years. It is notable for its wide range of applications with great variety of printing materials. Thanks to its special characteristics such as very little stretch, optimal surface structure and roughness and its very good ink transfer capacity, this blanket takes on high quality printing work, ensuring minimal dot  gain and uniform coverage of solids.
