The Heidelberg Platen has to be considered one of the most versatile machines on the market.

At B & H Print Engineers Ltd are specialised in the last 15 years rebuilding these machines to a high standard. Change over from hot foiling to cutting and creasing or embossing can be achieved in minutes

The basic system incorporates a single roller which is stepper motor driven giving total accuracy of foil pull. The distance can be set up to 320mm in increments of 1/10th of a mm. Foil usage is 400ft. on a 1" core ( 122 mtrs x 25mm core ).

Heat Plate: constructed from aluminium, which has 6mm drilled and tapped holes for die mounting. The plate is precision surface ground for accuracy. The final results are a lightweight durable heat efficient plate.

Control Panel: special built enclosure mounted to the machine, which can be turned to a position to suit the operator. The controls are accessed via a bespoke keypad and viewed by liquid crystal display. The functions are foil metering, foil alarm, step and repeat (upto 99 steps), and impression counter.
